# Support Team

Everything you need to know about our dedicated Support Team, including how to become a member.

We keep a small dedicated team of experienced support members to handle any issues or questions you may have. This team operates within all official channels, including our [Discord server](https://discord.com/invite/KZCtEA5hAd), [Steam page](https://store.steampowered.com/app/4459960/Discord_Bot_Factory/), [Email](mailto:discordbotfactory.software@gmail.com) to help make sure your experience is as smooth and positive as possible. 

### Support Packages

Support packages are a small file you can create to send a snapshot of your problematic/relevant flow to support members. You can do this by highlighting the flow by pressing `Ctrl/Cmd + Dragging across nodes`. This will create a selection box around the flow, where you can then press "**Create support package**" in the right sidebar. You'll be shown the option to save the file to a location, which you can then send to members of our support team.

Support packages, as well as sharing to friends/marketplace should automatically filter out common sensitive data left inside nodes, such as tokens, keys, etc, but you are recommended to double check to make sure nothing sensitive is ever shared.

If you believe something sensitive was shared by mistake/on purpose, please report it immediately.

### **Join the Support Team**

If you're interested in becoming a member of our Support Team, you'll need to first meet these requirements:

* You must be in our [Discord server](https://discord.com/invite/KZCtEA5hAd)
* You must own or recieve a legitimate copy of [Discord Bot Factory](https://store.steampowered.com/app/4459960/Discord_Bot_Factory/) on Steam
* Follow Discord’s Developer [Terms](https://support-dev.discord.com/hc/en-us/articles/8562894815383-Discord-Developer-Terms-of-Service) and [Policies](https://support-dev.discord.com/hc/en-us/articles/8563934450327-Discord-Developer-Policy)
* You must be regularly active within the DBF Discord server
* You must be experienced with Discord Bot Factory
* You must be able to confidently communicate in English&#x20;
* Previous support experience is ideal but not required

After submitting your application, you'll hear back from us via Discord when your application has been reviewed.

### What happens if I get rejected?

If your application is rejected, we'll contact you directly and provide a reason. You'll be notified of a timeframe/requirements for when you'll next be elegible to submit another application.&#x20;

### What happens if I get accepted?

If your application is successful, then we'll contact you about details of the role. You may be placed into a trial period while we assess your ability.

### I'm not happy with the way something was handled

If you feel like a member of our support team was unprofessional, or did not handle something properly, you can contact a senior member of the team through any of these channels:
